We walked the Howth Cliff Walk as planned. We’re glad we started out in mid-morning when it was bright and warm and beautiful.
Later, as we were finishing, a fog bank rolled in with great speed. It obscured the gorgeous view, but we’d gotten our eye-fulls by then.
After completing the trail, we stopped at a convenience mart and had some cokes with a family visiting from somewhere close to Dresden, Germany, plus a verbose and opinionated Irishman. The Hubs met his match in that guy!
We finished our day at a pub/restaurant where we lingered for quite a long time watching the Premier League FA cup final where Liverpool beat Chelsea on penalty kicks.
I'm exhausted right now. Tomorrow, I’ll recap some observations about our time in Ireland, and report about our transfer to Marseille and its aftermath. For now, suffice to say we made another change in plan and are no longer in Marseille. I’m so glad!
The walk is beautiful!! And you are building suspense. Intrigued!!
